Police Arrest A Baltimore Man for Unsolved Murder of UMES Studen …

PRINCESS ANNE, Md. – Maryland State Police have arrested a Baltimore man for murdering a student at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore more than four years ago.

Police arrested 25-year-old Davonta M. Braxton, of Baltimore, Md., around 10:30 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 20, on the university’s campus.

Officers say Braxton is charged in connection to the murder of 21-year-old Edmond St. Clair, who was a student at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore (UMES). Braxton has been a student at the university, but is not currently enrolled, according to school records.

Troopers say St. Clair’s murder happened around 9:00 p.m. on Feb. 16, 2013. According to police, St. Clair was a passenger in a car traveling across campus when he and those he was traveling with encountered several people who were walking in the street.

The investigation revealed St. Clair got out of the car and a fight broke out, during which he was stabbed

Investigators continue pursuing leads in 2004 unsolved murder

ISLE OF WIGHT, Co. – Investigators tested the DNA of a Virginia Beach man during the investigation into the unsolved murder of Carrie Singer, according to a search warrant.

Someone murdered Singer in 2004 and left her body in a farmer’s field in Isle of Wight County. Recently, investigators released a description of a suspect, using cutting edge technology based on DNA evidence.

With the sketch out in the public, investigators got a Crime Line tip about a man resembling  the sketch, the search warrant says. The man is named in the search warrant, but News 3 isn’t naming him because he hasn’t been charged in the investigation.

NH authorities search Londonderry apartment in connection with unsolved murder

Denise Robert was shot to death on Aug. 30, 2015, as she walked on Ray Street in Manchester, authorities said.

New Hampshire authorities Thursday searched an apartment in Londonderry in connection with the unsolved murder of 62-year-old Denise Robert in Manchester, according to the state attorney general’s office.

The search took place at 43 Kendall Pond Road, unit B, authorities said in a statement. New Hampshire State Police and Londonderry police executed a search warrant on the property.


Officials did not release what items, if any, were sought from the home “in order to protect the integrity of the ongoing investigation,” the statement said.

LONDONDERRY — Authorities searched an apartment in Londonderry Thursday in connection to the 2-year-old unsolved murder of advertising saleswoman Denise Robert, officials said.

The search took place at the B unit of 43 Kendall Pond Road.

“In order to protect the integrity of the ongoing investigation, what items are being sought and what, if any, items are located will not be disclosed,” Attorney General Gordon MacDonald said in a joint statement with Manchester Police Chief Nick Willard.

Robert, who was 62 at the time of her death, was shot in the head while taking her regular Sunday night walk

Friday October 20th is the 5 year anniversary of Medfords only unsolved murder – KOBI-TV NBC5 / KOTI

Medford, Ore.- It’s Medford’s only unsolved murder. Huey Huson, killed sometime on the night of October 20th, 2012.

And now, Medford Police say that all they need is one call to help finally solve this five year long case.

“Someone out there knows. No doubt about it,” Lieutenant Justin Ivens of Medford Police says.

And as Friday marks five years of waiting, Huson’s wife Susan cries as she explains her loss and says, “I need closure and I want justice for my husband.”

Today, the investigation into the murder of cab driver Huey Huson continues after he was killed five years ago on his birthday.

Medford Police say that on his last night alive, Huson was working as usual, driving for Valley Cab.

According to Medford Police, Huey Huson picked up a fare that night, and then the next morning around 5 A.M. his car was found abandoned in a parking lot at Almond and 9th.
